The Grant Writer is responsible for generating grant funding to meet the overall financial goal of over $1,000,000 annually. Specifically, the Grant Writer coordinates an agency wide grants calendar and monitors efforts to secure over $1,000,000 in private and public sector grant funding to address programmatic and agency funding needs for Valley Cities. The Grant Writer will prepare and submit program and agency funding proposals. The Grant writer will also be responsible for communications support for development activities, the Board of Directors, and agency staff. The Grant Writer will develop and apply a consistent communication style and ensure execution of all written content for both offline and online communications materials, including agency literature, direct mail pieces, client brochures, advertisements, media releases, email communications, web sites/social media, infographics, and other collateral.
