Job summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking a Grant Manager in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences to oversee the lifecycle and administrative tasks of sponsored projects. You will work with faculty, Sponsored Programs Administration, and sponsors to ensure compliance and timely submissions.

Your role includes pre-award grant development, tracking, Just-in-Time submissions, and identifying funding opportunities.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in grant/sponsored project administration or related financial management.
• Master’s degree in finance, business, or life sciences is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-award activities including grant development, tracking, and Just-in-Time submissions.
• Coordinate faculty effort certification, payroll confirmation, and costing allocations for federally funded awards.
• Track cost share and maintain information in institutional systems.
• Coordinate grant reports and deliverables, including Progress Reports.
• Support post-award administration including budgeting, staffing, and reporting.
