Job summary

The Denver Art Museum is seeking a Manager of Institutional Giving (full-time, exempt) to secure philanthropic support from foundations, government agencies, and corporate partners. You will oversee grant lifecycle, cultivate funders, and manage the corporate membership program to advance Learning & Engagement initiatives.

You will report to the Director of Institutional Giving and collaborate across departments to ensure timely reporting, compliance, and donor stewardship while contributing to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to five years of fundraising experience securing support from institutional funders.
• Experience managing the full grant lifecycle, including prospect research, proposals, reporting, and stewardship.
• Proven ability to build, maintain, and grow relationships with funders, sponsors, and corporate partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with donor databases, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Availability for occasional evening or weekend work, as necessary.
• Experience working in a nonprofit, cultural, educational, or mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead securing funding from foundations, government agencies, and corporate partners.
• Develop grant proposals, sponsorship packages, budgets, reports, and supporting materials.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with funders and sponsors to secure funding for exhibitions and programs.
• Manage the corporate membership program including sales, renewals, and stewardship.
• Coordinate annual SCFD recertification report.
• Collaborate with departments to gather information and ensure funding compliance.
• Maintain CRM records of interactions, proposals, grants, sponsorships, and memberships.
