Job summary

Denver Art Museum seeks a Manager of Institutional Giving to secure philanthropic support from foundations, government agencies, and corporate partners. You will manage the full grant lifecycle from research to reporting, build strong funder relations, and oversee corporate membership programs for Learning & Engagement.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of fundraising experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Qualifications

  • Three to five years of fundraising experience.
  • Experience managing the full grant lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to build and grow relationships with funders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter, resourceful and deadline-driven.
  • Experience coordinating cross-departmental teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop grant proposals, sponsorship packages, budgets, reports, and supporting materials.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with foundations, government agencies, and corporate sponsors.
  • Manage the corporate membership program including sales, renewals and benefits.
  • Coordinate fundraising activities for Learning & Engagement programs.
  • Ensure compliance with funding requirements and timely reporting.
