Qualifications

• Advanced degree in biomedical science or related field.
• Experience developing, editing, and applying for grants.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent project and time management skills.
• CRA certification or CRA/CRAFT training preferred.
• Experience with multi-project and cross-institutional collaborations.
• Experience preparing clinical research and clinical trial proposals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex proposals within parameters of sponsored and non-sponsored guidelines; manage submission process.
• Develop, revise, and finalize project budgets and provide cost sharing support.
• Coordinate with Office of Sponsored Research and investigators; respond to sponsor inquiries.
• Review expenditures, advise on post-award spending and compliance.
• Create reports and forecasting models to support project status.
• Oversee contract closeout and audit inquiries; submit final reports.
• Interpret university and government policies for staff and researchers.
