Jobot is seeking an Entry Level Grant Reimbursement Specialist to join our Accounting and Finance team in Orlando, FL. This on-site, entry-level contract-to-hire role focuses on managing all aspects of grant reimbursement, including expense reporting, revenue monitoring, and receivables.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree (or pursuing a bachelor’s) in Accounting, Finance, or Business, with 1+ year in a similar role.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree required or pursuing Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
  • 1+ year experience in a similar grant/reimbursement role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of expense reporting, grant revenue, and grants receivable.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and manage the grant reimbursement process from start to finish.
  • Prepare, review, and submit expense reports; reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor grant revenue and grants receivable; report to management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for reimbursement.
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide training and guidance on grant reimbursement procedures.
