Job summary

Regis University seeks a Grant Project Manager (TPSID) to provide strategic and operational leadership for the federally funded grant. You will oversee compliance, reporting, and collaboration to promote inclusive higher education and successful transitions to employment for students with intellectual disabilities.

You’ll manage administrative and financial aspects, coordinate with Financial Affairs, and lead evaluations with external evaluators.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience in grant management or administration in higher education or nonprofit settings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of inclusive higher education practices and/or transition services for students with intellectual disabilities.
• Experience managing budgets, supervising staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of the TPSID grant, ensuring federal and sponsor compliance.
• Prepare annual reports, continuation applications, and financial statements.
• Collaborate with evaluation teams to monitor student outcomes and program performance.

Job Summary:

The Grant Project Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the federally funded TPSID grant at Regis University. This role oversees all aspects of compliance, reporting, and collaboration associated with the TPSID grant, ensuring alignment with the project’s objectives to promote inclusive higher education and transition-to-employment outcomes for students with intellectual disabilities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Grant Management & Compliance

Manage all administrative and financial aspects of the TPSID grant, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, institutional policies, and sponsor requirements.

Prepare and submit annual performance reports, continuation applications, and financial statements. Monitor grant expenditures and coordinate with Financial Affairs to maintain fiscal accountability. Lead documentation and evaluation processes in partnership with external evaluators.

Data, Evaluation & Reporting

Collaborate with the evaluation team to ensure collection of valid, reliable data on student outcomes and program performance.

Interpret evaluation findings to guide continuous improvement and program sustainability.

Support dissemination of program results through conferences, publications, and community presentations.

Program Support

Develop training recommendations for grant-funded personnel including Transition Specialist, and student employees (Peer Mentors and Community Assistants).

Support the Global Inclusive Program team to ensure effective collaboration across departments (Academic Affairs, Student Life, Disability Services, Career Services, etc.) as it relates to grant activities.

Serve as the primary institutional representative to the U.S. Department of Education and national TPSID networks.

Partnership & Community Engagement

Develop and sustain partnerships with local school districts, the Colorado Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, employers, and community organizations.

Promote inclusive employment pathways for GLOBAL students and alumni.

Represent the program’s TPSID grant in state, regional, and national forums on inclusive postsecondary education.

Identify opportunities for additional funding, grants, and philanthropic support to sustain and expand the program beyond the initial grant period.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience in grant management, program leadership, or administration within higher education or nonprofit settings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of inclusive higher education practices and/or transition services for students with intellectual disabilities.
• Experience managing budgets, supervising staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications: (Any of these would be helpful.)

• Doctorate in Education or related discipline preferred.
• Experience with federal grants, particularly TPSID or similar postsecondary education initiatives preferred.
• Knowledge of evaluation and data collection methods for program assessment.
• Familiarity with Jesuit and mission-driven education environments
