The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, invites applications for a Grant Program Coordinator in the Biostatistics Department. This role supports pre-award and post-award grant administration, financial reconciliation, and reporting to help faculty and leadership maintain compliance and fiscal accountability.

You will work with faculty and staff on budgets, proposal development, SPORE reporting, effort reporting, and regulatory requirements, with opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Three years extensive administrative experience; with Master's degree, one year.
• Direct experience with grant management is preferred.
• Experience supporting grant-funded research programs and preparing budgets; interaction with faculty and institutional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Award Services: assist faculty with grant budget preparation and proposal development; maintain documentation.
• Post-Award Grant Administration: reconcile grant activity and monitor expenditures; provide status reports and projections.
• SPORE Reporting Support: gather data and prepare financial information for reporting.
• Effort Reporting & Compliance: coordinate with faculty and Grants & Contracts to ensure accurate effort certification.
• Additional Responsibilities: master Coeus and related systems; attend training; resolve administrative issues.
