Tallahassee State College (TSC) is announcing a full-time, grant-funded opening for the Traffic Safety Financial Analyst P09426 with the Florida Department of Transportation (DOT). The role reports to the DOT Traffic Safety Administrator and focuses on auditing and processing reimbursement claims.

Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree and have two years of accounting experience; professional experience can substitute for the degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of professional experience in accounting; experience can substitute for degree.

Responsabilités

• Auditing and processing claims for reimbursement.
• Maintaining computer financial systems required by State and Federal agencies (FACTS, CFM, FLAIR, GMSS, FFATA).
• Assisting with sub-grant application pre-award review and encumbrance of funds.
• Providing customer service and advice to subrecipients and Traffic Safety Program Managers.
• Reviewing sub-grant payment requests for accuracy and compliance with statutes and policies.
