Tallahassee State College (TSC) has a full-time, grant-funded opening for a Traffic Safety Financial Analyst P09426 hosted with the Florida Department of Transportation. The role focuses on auditing and processing reimbursement claims and maintaining key state financial systems.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of accounting experience; familiarity with state statutes and grants management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with state/federal grant financial management.
• Knowledge of GAAP and Florida statutes.

Responsibilities

• Audit and process reimbursement claims.
• Maintain financial systems (FACTS, CFM, FLAIR, GMSS, FFATA).
• Assist sub-grant pre-award review and encumbrance of funds.
• Provide customer service and guidance to subrecipients and Traffic Safety PMs.
• Review sub-grant payment requests for accuracy and compliance.
