Job summary

Township High School District 214 Community Education Foundation is seeking an Anticipated Instructional Assistant-Student Services (Grant) at RMHS. This 37.5 hrs/wk position supports licensed staff and works with students, families, and staff under grant funding.

Responsibilities include implementing classroom procedures, assisting with assessments, supporting IEP goals, and coordinating with teams. Must have Paraprofessional designation and be able to lift up to 50 lbs; position is temporary

Qualifications

Must have or obtain State and NCLB Approved Paraprofessional designation per ISBE.
Ability to lift/move supplies up to 50 lbs and assist students.
Proficiency with computers, office procedures and equipment.
Strong interpersonal communication with students, staff and families.

Responsibilities

Assist students under licensed staff guidance; reinforce classroom procedures and positive behavior.
Support with assessments, organization, note taking, and material grading.
Demonstrate technology use for instruction and remediation; help IEP goals.
Provide support for students' non-academic needs and transport as needed.
Collaborate with staff to support assessment, instruction, safety and student growth.
