Job summary

Township High School District 214 is seeking an Anticipated Instructional Assistant-Student Services (Grant) at RMHS. The assignment is 37.5 hours per week, 10 months, grant funded, starting Sept 25, 2026 with renewal possible based on grant funding.

The role involves close interaction with staff, students and parents; under licensed teachers, you will implement programs and support classroom procedures while maintaining confidentiality and initiative.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain State and NCLB Approved Paraprofessional designation according to ISBE requirements.
• Capable of lifting/moving up to 50 lbs and assisting students as needed.
• Proficient with computers and standard office equipment.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workflow.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students under licensed staff guidance.
• Implement classroom procedures and reinforce positive behavior.
• Monitor and administer assessments as needed.
• Support with note taking, organization, and technology use.
• Assist with IEP/504 progress data and non-academic student needs.
• Collaborate with staff and supervise students in non academic settings.
• Assist with off-campus programs and clerical tasks as required.
