Qualifications

• Must have or obtain State and NCLB Approved Paraprofessional designation.
• Must have physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and assist students.
• Proficiency with computers, office practices, and equipment.
• Must communicate clearly and respectfully with students, staff and the public.
• Must complete CPI training and district health care trainings.

Responsibilities

• Assist medically fragile students per IEP/Health Care Plan.
• Support licensed staff with tutoring and assessments.
• Perform clerical tasks and lab set-up as needed.
• Record data and communicate health information to nurse/case manager.
• Coordinate with Education Association staff and supervise off-campus activities.
