Habitat For Humanity Central Arizona is seeking an NCCER Trades Instructor to teach basic construction skills to diverse participants. This grant-funded role focuses on NCCER Core Curriculum and Leeds v4.1, preparing learners for construction career pathways and apprenticeships.

The instructor will assess trainee levels, apply effective teaching techniques, and use MS Office tools for administrative tasks while fostering a respectful, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must be NCCER Certified.
• Knowledge of NCCER Core Curriculum.
• Construction Math knowledge preferred.
• Must have or obtain Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Teach basic construction skills to participants with varying levels.
• Integrate NCCER curriculum to prepare for careers or apprenticeship programs.
• Engage, coach, mentor, and guide trainees toward goals.
• Assist with outreach and client service as needed.
