Job summary

YWCA Metro St. Louis is seeking a Development Manager to implement fundraising initiatives and support revenue generation across programs, including education, housing, and advocacy.

You will manage donor engagement, coordinate grants, and partner with program staff to present impact data to supporters. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or a related field.
• Experience in nonprofit development or fundraising.
• Experience supporting campaigns, donor relations, or grant development.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of a fundraising strategy across program areas.
• Manage donor portfolio with cultivation and stewardship activities.
• Assist with identifying prospective donors and grant opportunities.
• Coordinate and support grant development, including documentation and deadlines.
• Collaborate with Marketing to communicate program impact to donors.
• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events, managing logistics and follow-up.
• Develop donor communications such as appeals, newsletters, and impact reports.
• Maintain donor records in the CRM and track engagement.
• Monitor fundraising progress and prepare reports for leadership.
