Job summary

The SC Center for Fathers and Families seeks a full-time Development Coordinator to advance grant development and stewardship across private and public funders. The role collaborates with finance, programs, and communications to ensure timely proposals, award management, and impact reporting.

Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor's degree and at least five years in resource development, with strong skills in grant writing, analysis, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Requires bachelor’s degree in business, policy, social work, public health, or related field.
  • Minimum five years of resource development and coordination experience.
  • Experience writing competitive proposals for private foundations, corporations, and public agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate research on potential funding sources and track grant opportunities.
  • Coordinate with lead grant writers or contractors for proposal development.
  • Manage proposal development process from conception to submission with proper reviews.
  • Monitor grants, track projects, and ensure timely reporting and data collection.
  • Communicate grant outcomes to funders and internal stakeholders; promote awards.
  • Collaborate with finance, program, communications, and other teams to align grant activities.
  • Prepare narrative and financial reports, coordinating with the Director of Finance.
