BlueSteps Connect is seeking a Grant Coordinator to lead grant research, coordination, proposal development, and reporting to secure funding aligned with the agency's evolving needs.

You will manage the full grant lifecycle from research and preparation through submission and post‑award administration for government, foundation, and corporate grants, ensuring timely, accurate reports and compliant documentation.

Job description

The client Grant Coordinator leads grant research, coordination, proposal development, and reporting to secure funding aligned with the evolving needs of the agency and community. The role manages the grant lifecycle from research and preparation through submission and post-award administration for government, foundation, and corporate grants. The coordinator identifies and evaluates new funding opportunities, recommends strategic options to support client programs, and collaborates across teams to maintain organized digital files and support accurate grant tracking, documentation, and funder compliance.

The client Grant Coordinator builds and maintains relationships with foundations, corporations, and government partners, and supports coordination of meetings with internal teams as needed. The role curates and shares relevant grant resources with agency staff and may support development teams in creating and executing strategic development plans to drive growth and sustainability. The coordinator stays current on funding trends through ongoing training and professional development, and works with finance, program, and other teams to collect data, impact stories, and financial information for grant reporting using key metrics and outcomes, ensuring reports are submitted timely and accurately.

The position emphasizes grant planning and proposal development, primarily for grants and proposals exceeding $19 million. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, along with a minimum of three years of grant writing experience; human services experience is preferred. The role requires demonstrated effective communication in writing and orally, strong computer skills and experience with database systems, and a proven record of achieving revenue or donation targets. Preferred qualifications include one year of budgetary planning experience, and the coordinator must follow HIPAA regulations when accessing Protected Health Information and other client data in accordance with agency policies, along with completing additional duties as assigned by the Social Impact Director.
