Job summary

VK Capital Ventures Inc. operates Travel Villa Kitchen in Houston, hiring a Grant & Compliance Specialist to manage grant pipelines, ensure compliance, and keep reporting flawless. The role is full-time in Houston with a base salary of $65,000 per year, supporting food-access programming and funder accountability.

The successful candidate will handle reporting from data systems, maintain audit-ready documentation, and craft funder communications in the house voice from day one.

Qualifications

• Grant writing, grant administration, or compliance experience in nonprofit or small-business funding.
• Deadline discipline and audit-ready documentation.
• Strong research and writing skills; comfort with budgets and outcomes data.
• Reg CF familiarity is a plus, process discipline matters more.

Responsibilities

• Execute the grant pipeline: opportunity tracking, application assembly, submission, and deadlines.
• Own the compliance calendar, including Reg CF reporting obligations — nothing due is ever a surprise.
• Assemble reporting from our data systems (survey data, program outcomes, financials) — every claim sourced, nothing invented.
• Maintain the document trail funders and auditors ask for: organized, current, retrievable.
• Draft funder communications in the house voice, for founder review.

We are hiring a Grant & Compliance Specialist to execute our grant pipeline and keep our reporting calendar flawless: every deadline met, every report sourced, every dollar accounted for.

• Own the compliance calendar, including Reg CF reporting obligations — nothing due is ever a surprise
• Assemble reporting from our data systems (survey data, program outcomes, financials) — every claim sourced, nothing invented
• Maintain the document trail funders and auditors ask for: organized, current, retrievable
• Draft funder communications in the house voice, for founder review
