Qualifications

• Knowledge of local and federal regulations governing federally funded grant programs.
• Knowledge of federal compliance requirements.
• Minimum 1 year grant administration experience.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate grant program activity for compliance with requirements and GAAP.
• Monitor compliance with rate-related regulatory requirements and debt covenants.
• Track audit findings and recommendations; propose improvements.
• Assist in developing and implementing grant processes, documentation and requirements.
• Assist in training internal customers in grant management and compliance.
• Review contracts for federally funded projects to ensure scope is met.
• Ensure vendors adhere to federal policies, reimbursement policies, and contract terms.
• Review grant-related financial transactions prior to accounting entry.
• Conduct advanced data analysis of invoices, create reports and forecasts for project progress.
