Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a Finance Analyst to provide financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting support to the CFO and leadership. The role includes grant budgeting oversight, variance analysis, and preparation of annual budgets and cost reports.

Under the Controller, you will assist in month-end close, journals, and audits, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. Strong Excel and dashboard skills are required to optimize financial performance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and budgeting practices.
• Advanced Excel skills required for financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and variances.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for grant budgets and annual budgeting.
• Monitor budget-to-actual variances and explain significant differences.
• Assist with quarterly budget reports for leadership review.
• Support annual financial audit with schedules and documentation.
• Perform month-end journal entries and GL reconciliations.
• Create and document procedures for new tasks and responsibilities.
