Job summary

Temple University is seeking a Grant Analyst I to join the Research Administration team. The role focuses on reconciling, managing, reporting, and analyzing grant budgets and expenditures across a growing portfolio of contracts and multi-year projects.

You will work with investigators and departments to ensure accurate financial accounting and timely processing of data, using Banner Finance and ERS, while maintaining strong communication with sponsors and internal staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least two years' related finance/accounting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize online financial systems and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile, manage, report, and analyze grant budgets and expenditures.
• Coordinate with investigators and departments to ensure accurate financial accounting.
• Input budgets into Banner Finance and revise during award lifecycle.
• Review ERS to ensure salaries are charged to awards.
