Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience required.
  • 2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation, review, and renewal of grants, contracts, and subcontract proposals.
  • Prepare grant proposals and subcontracts for all sponsored research projects.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities related to grants and contracts.
  • Assist with sponsored project setup and budget line items.
  • Assist in the preparation of faculty biosketch for compliance.
  • Monitor departmental compliance with conflict of interest disclosures.
  • Attend SPA meetings to enhance knowledge of grants administration.
  • Coordinate annual effort reporting compliance.
  • Coordinate quarterly meetings with research Principal Investigators.
  • Assist with post-award activities and project close-out.
  • Monitor and respond to urgent financial transaction requests.
  • Perform other departmental administrative duties as assigned.
