Job summary

The State of Missouri is seeking an organized, detail‑oriented professional to support grant processing for the Department. Based in Jefferson City, you will oversee daily workflows, assist with awarding processes, and ensure data integrity across the grant database and financial system.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years of relevant experience; strong communication and time management are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required or 0–2 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed).
Highly organized, proactive and possess strong analytical skills.
Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily process flow for divisional processing teams.
Work with DHSS divisions to ensure consistent purchasing and payment processing.
Analyze payment requests using federal, state, and departmental guidelines.
Approve various payment documents in the state financial system.
Communicate effectively with and assist program team members.
Maintain data integrity and grant files across systems.
Assist with process improvement projects for the bureau.
Provide training and guidance to new team members as needed.
