The Allentown City School District is seeking a Director of Grant Accounting to oversee grant revenues and expenditures, ensure timely reimbursements, and maintain GAAP-compliant financial reporting. This senior role requires collaboration with grant administrators and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities include budgeting, monitoring grant activity, preparing invoices, and coordinating federal and state reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or related field required.
• Three (3) years of accounting experience with school accounting or grant administration preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with Excel, Word and/or Google Docs required.
• Strong analytical, research and mathematical aptitude; ability to work in a team.

Aufgaben

• Oversee grant revenues and expenditures; ensure timely and accurate grant reimbursements and financial reports.
• Maintain general ledger for grants per GAAP, PDE and federal guidance.
• Coordinate grant budgeting, reporting and cash flow with grant administrators.
• Prepare invoices and cash requests for federal funds; close out grants and file required reports.
• Ensure fixed assets purchased with grant funds are tagged and inventoried.
