AccessHealth seeks an Accountant to support grant recovery, billing, reimbursement, reporting, and month-end close. You will work with grant program leadership and Finance to prepare reimbursement requests, monitor budgets, and reconcile activity to ensure funds are properly tracked and used for program success.

The role focuses on grant billing, financial reporting, contract management, and audit support, with responsibilities spanning from invoicing to ensuring compliance with funding

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and submit monthly grant invoices, vouchers, and reimbursement requests in accordance with state and federal requirements.
• Review and validate billing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and contract compliance.
• Monitor reimbursement activity and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Reconcile invoiced amounts to general ledger activity and supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and reporting issues.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to grant operations.
• Reconcile grant program revenues, expenditures, and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities for grant funding.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules as needed.
• Monitor grant expenditures to ensure spending stays within budget categories.
• Track program-specific expenditures and analyze budget-to-actual variances.
• Monitor WIC grant budgets and funding allocations; assist with budget revisions and amendments.
• Ensure expenditures are allowable and properly documented.
