Summary

The Grain Terminal Production Supervisor manages crews involved in receiving, drying, storing, and distributing grains.

The salary range is $63,000 - $95,000 annually, based on experience, with an optional annual bonus depending on performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), insurance options, disability coverage, flexible spending, and paid time off.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead hiring, training, and development of the grain terminal staff.
• Ensure safe working conditions for all associates.
• Maintain service quality and equitable treatment for internal and external customers.
• Oversee the condition and quality of stored grain.
• Coordinate activities of teams handling grain receipt, drying, storage, and distribution, including housekeeping.
• Ensure preventative maintenance of equipment to maximize lifespan and availability.
• Work with grain merchandising to ensure positive customer relationships and efficient grain movement.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BS Degree in Agriculture, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 3-5 years in grain handling or related experience.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of grain technologies, commodity markets, and relevant regulations.
• Basic software proficiency and strong communication skills.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Ability to move within facilities, climb heights, carry tools, and work in varying temperatures, humidity, noise, and chemical environments. Protective equipment use required. Travel to remote facilities and customer sites is expected.
