Job Overview

Perdue AgriBusiness, part of Perdue Farms, is a leading international agricultural company with a diverse portfolio, including grain handling, soybean processing, and edible oils. We are seeking a Production Supervisor - Nights in Salisbury, MD, to oversee crews involved in receiving, drying, storing, and distributing grains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise teams managing grain receipt, storage, and distribution
  • Ensure a safe working environment complying with all regulations
  • Maintain and improve grain quality during storage
  • Coordinate with grain merchandising for customer service and efficient operations
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Identify operational improvements and develop capital projects
  • Provide safety, environmental, and job-specific training to staff
Qualifications

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred in Agriculture, Logistics, Business, or related field.

Experience: 1-3 years supervisory experience, knowledge of software applications, familiarity with federal and OSHA regulations.

Preferred Skills: Grain handling experience, knowledge of storage technologies, understanding of commodity markets.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

Ability to move within facilities, climb heights, lift tools and equipment, and wear protective gear. Must be able to travel to remote sites and work in various environmental conditions.
