Job summary

Summit Contracting, a premier builder of agricultural structures in the Midwest, seeks a Grain Systems Sales Representative to drive revenue growth across grain systems and storage solutions.

You will generate leads, conduct site visits, develop proposals, and close profitable projects while coordinating with operations to ensure a seamless transition from sale to execution. Travel as needed to customer sites and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years direct sales experience; agriculture/construction preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Experience with ClickUp, CAD, or B2W preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate new leads through networking, prospecting, and events.
• Follow up on inbound/outbound leads and schedule site visits.
• Develop proposals and accurate estimates for grain systems solutions.
• Negotiate and close sales while preserving profitability.
• Maintain CRM for reporting and pipeline management.
• Coordinate with operations for smooth handoff from sale to execution.
• Build and sustain client relationships for repeat/referral business.
