Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. in Denison, IA is seeking a hands-on Operations Associate responsible for DDGS loadout, inspection, and general facility operations. You will probe trucks, operate grain handling equipment, and enter shipment data while delivering excellent service to drivers.

This role involves monitoring equipment, solving issues, moving railcars, and performing housekeeping. It offers a Monday–Friday 10:00 AM–7:00 PM CST shift and exposure to outdoor, heavy labor in an ethanol production

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Basic computer and data entry skills.
Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform inspection activities such as probing trucks.
Operate grain handling and receiving equipment; provide customer service to drivers and perform data entry of shipment details.
Monitor equipment and processes to identify issues; resolve or elevate issues when necessary.
Operate various types of mobile equipment.
Assist with the movement of railcars.
Perform general housekeeping activities.
