Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a hands-on operations teammate for DDGS loadout and facility operations.

You will inspect trucks, operate grain handling equipment, and ensure accurate shipment documentation while prioritizing safety and service to drivers. This role involves monitoring processes, troubleshooting issues, moving railcars, performing housekeeping, and working outdoors in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Previous grain operations experience preferred.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection activities such as probing trucks
• Operate grain handling and receiving equipment; provide customer service to drivers and perform data entry of shipment details
• Monitor equipment and processes to identify issues; resolve or elevate issues when necessary
• Operate various types of mobile equipment
• Assist with the movement of railcars
• Perform general housekeeping activities
