Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a Renewables Operations Worker for the 2nd shift in Denison, IA. You will inspect trucks, operate grain handling and receiving equipment, and accurately log shipment data for efficient operations.

Ideal candidates have basic computer and data entry skills, some grain operations experience, and a willingness to work outdoors. Shift: Mon–Fri 10:00 AM–7:00 PM CST, with opportunities for growth and cross‑training.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills are expected.
  • Previous grain operations experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Key duties include conducting inspection activities such as probing trucks, operating grain handling and receiving equipment, and providing excellent customer service to drivers while accurately entering shipment data. The role involves monitoring equipment and processes to identify issues and either resolving them or escalating as needed to maintain efficient operations. Employees will operate various types of mobile equipment and assist with the safe movement of railcars for product loading. Additional responsibilities include performing general housekeeping tasks such as sweeping and maintaining clean work areas.
