Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Grain Plant Operator for a seasonal role in O'Neill, NE. The position runs 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a $20.00 per hour wage and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

You will support seasonal grain handling operations by loading, unloading, storing, and moving bulk commodities across the facility. You will operate equipment, perform inspections, and assist with basic maintenance to ensure safe and efficient grain flow.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in cold or warm production settings, including in guarded areas at heights ranging from 4 to 150 feet, while wearing required PPE and performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Operate loading/unloading of trucks, vessels, barges, and railcars.
• Assist with storage, reclaiming grain ground piles, and other grain handling tasks.
• Perform basic maintenance and operator care of equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
