Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is hiring for a hands-on operations role focused on DDGS loadout, inspection, and general facility duties.

You will probe trucks, run grain handling and receiving equipment, and capture shipment data with accuracy while supporting safe operations and responsive service to drivers. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer and data entry skills, and experience with grain operations or mobile equipment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and data entry skills are preferred.
• Previous grain operations experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection activities such as probing trucks.
• Operate grain handling and receiving equipment; provide customer service to drivers and perform data entry of shipment details.
• Monitor equipment and processes to identify issues; resolve or escalating issues when necessary.
• Operate various types of mobile equipment.
• Assist with the movement of railcars.
• Perform general housekeeping activities.
