Job summary

CHS Inc. in Overton, NE is seeking a Grain Operations Specialist to join our team to support the storage, loading and distribution of agricultural commodities.

You will help prepare trucks and railcars, load and unload products, monitor inventory quality and ensure safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced ag environment. The role requires knowledge of operations, the ability to operate heavy machinery, and flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Operations and/or Business Operations.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile.
• Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Agriculture experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of commodities handled at the location and comply with policy/regulations.
• Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading and handle hoses and fittings.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs from railcars and trucks using equipment.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow safety policies.
