Job summary

Mid-Kansas-Cooperative is seeking a candidate to direct grain elevator operations, maintenance, and product quality control while driving feed, petroleum and seed sales. You will supervise staff, weigh trucks, and oversee grain settlements to ensure accurate pricing.

A strong focus on safety and customer service is essential in this leadership role. The position requires knowledge of grain properties, POS/scale software, and the ability to obtain a 7B fumigation license plus HazMat CDL.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a related agricultural field or five years of grain industry experience.
• Experience with grain accounting and bookkeeping is valued.
• Ability to obtain a class 7B grain fumigation license and Haz Mat CDL endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping for grain transactions, including input of grain tickets and settlements.
• Run the scale, test grain, assign grades, and input data into the Point of Scale system.
• Maintain positive customer service and assist with loading/unloading and problem resolution.
• Supervise all full and part-time employees and review performance with the area manager.
• Maintain and improve grain handling procedures to ensure top quality.
• Oversee inventory, shipping, and billing processes for grain products.
