Job summary

Kanza Coop is seeking an Elevator Operator to provide outstanding customer service while supporting the receiving, storing, and shipping of grain. The role emphasizes safety and teamwork, with tasks including monitoring grain quality, assisting with truck loading, and performing routine equipment maintenance.

You will communicate effectively with customers and coworkers, follow safety policies, and adapt to harvest schedules, shifts, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in elevator operation or similar role preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to safety and regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers with a positive attitude and ensures a welcoming, professional experience.
• Loads and unloads trucks and inspects grain for insects, moisture, and foreign materials.
• Operates conveyors, selects flow pipes, and assigns storage tanks to move grain efficiently.
• Performs routine maintenance on elevator equipment and assists with paperwork and record-keeping.
• Maintains safety, adheres to policies, and promotes a culture of teamwork and communication.
