Job summary

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, record-keeping, and occasional travel. A Millwright certification or equivalent experience plus 3 years in industrial maintenance are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Millwright certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with conveyor systems, grain handling equipment, milling equipment, pumps, motors, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow all policies, GMPs, safety procedures and maintenance practices.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems.
• Install, align, maintain, and repair motors, bearings, gearboxes, belts, and augers.
• Diagnose equipment failures and perform corrective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Inspect machinery for proper operation and safety compliance.
• Lubricate equipment and perform welding, cutting, fabrication as needed.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders, perform lockout/tagout.
• Operate forklifts or other maintenance equipment; travel ~10% as required.
