Job summary

KPIC Maintenance Services Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in North Dakota to service grain handling, feed mill, food processing and forestry facilities. You will perform mechanical maintenance, inspections, and installations, using safe work practices.

Responsibilities include reading equipment drawings, welding, rigging, supervising laborers, and mentoring juniors. This role requires being within one hour of the posted location and working in cold and hot environments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment drawings and specifications.
• Experience with welding and cutting procedures.
• Ability to operate common field equipment safely (forklift, skid steer, scissor lifts).

Responsibilities

• Promote safety practices and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment; perform installations as per specs.
• Read equipment drawings and lay out work per drawings and manuals.
• Mentor junior workers and supervise laborers as needed.
• Complete daily paperwork to KPIC standards and manage tools and trailer cleanliness.
