Job summary

The Wenger Group, a Northeast family-owned leader in food and agricultural products, seeks a Mill Laborer in Lancaster, PA. You will perform general housekeeping in the mill and assist with quality assurance tasks, using a forklift and maintaining inventory organization.

This role requires reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to work in dusty conditions. Full-time position with benefits, opportunities for growth, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in basic housekeeping.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in dusty conditions.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and remove dust, debris, and spilled products throughout the facility.
• Remove cobwebs by air hose or extendable brush.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor property and equipment.
• Operate forklift/pallet jack to organize the warehouse inventory.
• Manage weekly storage of retained feed samples.
• Assist with QA procedures (corn particle size testing, finished feed testing, magnet checks).
• Document housekeeping findings into the Shrink database.
• Complete weekly and monthly safety, environmental, and quality audits.
• Ensure weekly mail and items for courier pickup on designated days.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
