Job summary

The Wenger Group, a Northeast-based food, agricultural products, and services company, is seeking a Utility Technician to support multiple plant operations. This role involves batch mixing, shortmix monitoring, and pellet mill operation, with cross-training for maintenance and special projects.

You will help load/unload trucks, uphold safety standards, and assist with process improvements while working as part of a collaborative team in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or mill environment is a plus.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple operational tasks with attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor batch mixing to ensure accurate formulation.
• Monitor shortmix to maintain product quality and specifications.
• Operate pellet mill equipment to ensure optimal performance and output.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Provide backup for maintenance tasks and assist with plant projects.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
