Job summary

Gold Star FS is seeking a Millwright to construct, install, maintain, and repair grain storage and handling equipment at customer sites. You will work in teams to erect grain bins, conveyors, legs, towers, and unload systems while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read drawings, and readiness to travel to job sites. Welding and fabrication skills are a plus. A strong safety focus and customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, measurements, and installation instructions.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction and erection of new grain bins and storage systems.
• Install, service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair grain handling equipment (conveyors, augers, grain legs, unload systems).
• Perform mechanical repairs and welding as needed.
• Read layouts and specs to guide installations and maintenance.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, lifts safely in job sites.
• Maintain records and communicate progress and issues to management.
• Represent the company professionally at customer sites and comply with safety policies.
