Job summary

Bühler Group in Minnesota is seeking a Project Manager for capital projects to oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale system installations from concept through commissioning.

You will lead mechanical and process-focused projects, coordinate with engineering, vendors, and on-site teams, and own the details that keep major industrial projects moving. Strong communication and English proficiency are essential; travel up to 15% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering or related field
• 3 years of experience in a project engineering role
• 3 years overseeing projects in the grain handling industry
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• 3D CAD (Mechanical/Architect) preferred
• SAP experience preferred
• Gantt chart experience preferred
• PMI certification is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to speak and understand English
• Ability to travel 15% of the time

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning
• Collaborate with engineering, vendors, and onsite teams
• Provide execution strategy and ensure project baseline is approved
• Manage project teams to meet cost, schedule, quality and EHS targets
• Maintain project documentation and site briefing meetings
• Develop relationships with customers, contractors, and subcontractors
• Support risk management and change orders with effective claim strategies
• Ensure timely communication and continual learning within the team
• Arrive at work predictably and promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering or related field

3 years of experience in a project engineering role

3 years overseeing projects in the grain handling industry

Strong communication skills

English language proficiency

Ability to travel 15% of the time
