Job summary

Bühler Group is seeking a Project Manager for fulfillment work across North America, focusing on smaller equipment projects and retrofits within the BühlerPrince portfolio. You will lead projects from quote to acceptance, coordinating with customers, partners, and internal teams to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.

The role requires a 4-year Engineering degree and strong communication, planning, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer projects from quotation through final acceptance, ensuring cost, schedule, quality and satisfaction goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, proactively manage risks, changes, and claims to successful outcomes.
• Oversee project documentation, reviews, and handoffs; ensure site personnel have resources for safe execution.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement while supporting operational excellence with PM and Quotation teams; travel as required.

Job description

Project Manager for fulfillment work related to the production of machines, tools, products and other equipment related to BuhlerPrince's product portfolio, with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. These projects can be large in scope and frequently involve complex engineering problems. The Project Manager is the leader in the fulfillment of the project. This role primarily focuses on smaller new equipment projects & retrofits for the existing installed base across North America.

• Manage customer projects from quotation and purchase order through final acceptance, ensuring successful execution and achievement of cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to support efficient project delivery and effective collaboration.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, proactively managing project risks, opportunities, deviations, change orders, and claims to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Conduct project reviews, oversee project documentation and handoffs, and ensure site personnel receive the information and resources needed for safe and effective project execution.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement initiatives while supporting operational excellence within the Project Management and Quotation teams; travel domestically and internationally as required to support project activities.
