The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and preferably some industrial experience. Competitive pay ranging from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, benefits include a 401(k) plan and medical coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: at least one year of experience in an industrial environment with a dependable work record.
• Ability to use tools appropriate for the assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the company Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Load and unload barges, ensuring draft and quality requirements.
• Complete documentation accurately, promptly, and legibly.
• Perform general housekeeping duties: sweeping, shoveling, washing, painting.

Skills

Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

Strong focus on customer service

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
