Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Grain Facility Operator in Training to begin a career path through our newly designed program. You will participate in safety programs, learn loading/unloading operations, and support railcar, barge, and truck movements in a facility setting.

No prior experience required; a high school diploma is preferred. The role offers growth opportunities, performance-based pay steps, and exposure to diverse grain handling operations across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Industrial environment experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform multiple duties and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the company Safety Program and daily pre-shift meetings.
• Follow OSHA, safety and environmental regulations and wear PPE as required.
• Perform deckhand and barge loading duties including loading to draft and quality requirements.
• Transfer, load and move grain to designated locations and maintain grain quality.
• Perform rail duties including unloading and loading as needed.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist with housekeeping and preventive maintenance as needed.
• Work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
