Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking operators in training for our grain facility to support loading and unloading of barges, rail cars and trucks.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy in documentation, and a willingness to perform a variety of daily tasks in an outdoor environment. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and offers a path through a structured training program designed to advance responsibilities and pay.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication with all levels.
• Ability to complete documentation requirements.
• Ability to follow directions and use logical thought to interpret instructions, and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team.
• Ability to use tools appropriate for assigned task.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Operate and maintain duties for barge, rail, and truck loading/unloading.
• Transfer and move grain to storage and transfer points.
• Maintain grain quality during storage and transfer.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintenance duties.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations; wear PPE.
• Other duties as assigned.
