Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Grain Facility Operator in Training in Indiana. The role involves safely loading/unloading barges, rail cars and trucks, with a focus on grain handling in an outdoor facility.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication.
• Ability to complete documentation requirements.
• Ability to follow directions and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Fully participate in the company Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Perform barge loading duties to meet draft and quality requirements.
• Transfer, load and move grain to the appropriate location.
• Maintain grain quality during storage and transfer.
• Perform rail duties including prep, unloading and loading.
• Complete documentation timely and legibly.
• Perform general clean-up and housekeeping responsibilities.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
