Job summary

The Equity Elevator Operator in Horace, ND area oversees daily grain facility operations, working with the Grain Superintendent to ensure safe handling, storage, conditioning, and movement of grain. You will communicate inventory, assist customers, and support regulatory compliance to maintain grain quality and excellent service.

The role emphasizes safety, knowledge of grain industry regulations, and willingness to assist with all facility maintenance and operations, reporting to the Grain

Qualifications

• Excellent Customer Service Skills.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact effectively with management and customers.
• Has a self-motivating personality as well as team-building skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Follow all personnel and safety policies.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all established safety policies and procedures.
• Assist the grain superintendent with operation of the grain facility, including receiving, grading, conditioning, drying, storing, blending and loading out of grain.
• Be knowledgeable of governmental regulations concerning OSHA, EPA, and grain handling.
• Assist customers in a prompt, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Assist the grain superintendent in communicating quantity and quality of grain stocks and storage space available.
• Perform tasks that contribute to customer service, grain conditioning and facility maintenance.
