Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Operations Leader to oversee day-to-day activities at our Gladstone river facility. You will manage barge loading, grain movement, and overall site performance, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations.

You will lead location staff, develop budgets, and drive continuous improvements while maintaining compliance with OSHA, EPA, and environmental standards. Travel may be required to support multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent training and work experience.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Technical Systems Management.
• 3 years’ experience in various sides of the specific business unit.
• Working knowledge of location cost structures, mix and blend analysis, safety, efficiency, product quality, preventive maintenance, OSHA, EPA, and logistics terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations at the river facility, overseeing barge loading, grain movement, and site performance in Gladstone.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management at the location.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental controls; manage budgets and improve location profitability.
