Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent training and work experience.
• 3 years’ experience in various sides of the specific business unit.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to coach and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees in all activities for all applicable operations at assigned location (e.g. grain and terminal, soybean plant, etc.).
• Ultimately responsible for assigned location results; develop location benchmarks and improvement plans.
• Lead and communicate the company’s safety program; schedule monthly safety meetings and monitor safety behaviors.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations; enforce PPE usage.
• Develop and manage budgets with input from other departments; plan staffing and schedules.
• Determine need for Barge/Rail/Grain Inspector; oversee staffing and development activities.
• Conduct internal quality audits and review processes; coordinate with management on improvements.
